Dr Annie Gowing is Student Wellbeing Specialisation Leader in the Master of Teaching at the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Education. Her professional background spans social work, child and family agencies, school-based student support, counselling, and leadership in student wellbeing and engagement. Her PhD explored school connectedness, an area that continues to shape her research alongside school belonging, school climate, and the relationship between wellbeing and learning. Since 2014, she has taught in student wellbeing subjects, supporting educators to make a positive difference to children and young people’s wellbeing.

Dr. Dhan Bdr. Professor Sanjeev Mehta is Senior Professor of Economics at Royal Thimphu College, with more than three decades of teaching experience. His strengths include macroeconomic modelling, policy analysis, curriculum development, capacity development, team building, monitoring and evaluation, and communication. He specializes in macroeconomics and development issues and has provided consultancy services to UNDP, UNESCAP, ADB, WFP, the World Bank, WIPO, the Royal Government of Bhutan, and the corporate sector. Dr. Phurpa Wangchuk is a medicinal chemist at James Cook University whose research advances nature-inspired therapeutics for inflammatory bowel disease and other health challenges. He leads a dedicated research team and established metabolomics platforms using HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS and NMR. His work spans plant metabolomics, parasitomics, bioactive natural products, bush medicines, drug discovery and biomarkers. A former NHMRC Peter Doherty Biomedical Fellow, Australian Endeavour Award recipient and DANIDA Fellow, he has secured successive NHMRC Ideas Grants and published extensively, contributing to biomedical science and natural-products discovery.
